How Much Do You Know About The Display Details of A Digital Photo Frame?

With more and more digital cameras get into our lives, a lot of people have begun to prepare to buy digital photo frames, but n ot all the people know the parameters about digital photo frames clearly, so we prepare for a series of details of the article to introduce the parameters of the digital photo frame and a bit of purchase notes!

The main parameters are: screen size, display resolution, contrast, brightness, viewing angle and so on. Now we show you a detailed brief of the main displays parameters on digital photo frame as following:

1. Screen size
First of all, we talk some about the screen, display screen is the most important part of digital photo frames, so we should pay more attention about it, as most of digital photo frames are using LCD screen, so a lot of parameters is similar to liquid crystal display as we all know how. This parameter is very easy to understand, that is, display size, are now mainstream 7-inch and 8-inch, like the size of our traditional picture frame, it is important to note that all the traditional photograph are 4:3, but Now digital cameras can also get a digital photograph of 16:9, and 16:9 is the future trend of a display, so a digital picture frame also has two selection about the screen size, please pay attention when you buy!

2. Display resolution
Digital Photo Frame is mainly used to display digital photos, digital cameras are now developing more and more high pixels, and can get high resolution pictures, the average 600W pixel camera can make 2848*2136 photograph, and our home liquid crystal displays are in general only 19-inch, maximum resolution is only 1440*1280, and most of Digital Photo Frames feature 7-inch screen, slightly better display resolution is only 800 * 600, to our surprised, how big difference between them! We can look through photography via PC, and get a better effect after edited. But not the same thing about digital photo frames, you may only view part of them when watching high-resolution pictures (not edited via software), which is very uncomfortable, does we really have to transfer them into 800*600 resolution via pc in order to watch? In fact, the problem does not worry everyone that much, high-tech make everything go so smoothly, and our digital photo frame also has the conversion software, that will be ok as long as everyone puts the camera card directly into our card reader of the Digital Photo Frame!

3. Contrast
Human eye can accept maximum 250:1 contrast ratio, generally speaking, in most cases, that’s great to get a contrast ratio of 300:1. Of course, the greater the contrast, the better! Now we can see that the majority of digital picture frames are at more than 250:1 contrast ratio!

4. Brightness
Higher brightness, the display image will become clearer, you’ll then see more details. Universal brightness of liquid crystal is generally at 250cd /㎡ (lumens), and now the brightness of most of LCD screen is also higher than this!

5. Viewing angle
LCD viewing area is divided into horizontal visual range and vertical visual range, horizontal visual range is based on the liquid vertical axis as the center, to left and right, in which angle you can view image clearly. The scope of vertical visual display based on the horizontal axis as the center, both upward and downward mobility can get clear image. Viewing angles takes “degree” as a unit, the current commonly used form of mark is marking the total horizontal, vertical range directly, such as: 150/120 degrees, currently the lowest viewing angle is 120/100 degree (horizontal / vertical), it won’t be accepted if lower than this, and it is best to achieve 150/120 degrees.
